History of KatasSanchinSanchin originated in China and arrived in Okinawa towards the end of the 1910's.KanshiwaKanshiwa was created by Kanei Uechi at the beginning of the 1950's.KanshuKanshu was made by Seiki Itokazu early in the 1950's.SeichinSeichin was made by Saburo Uehara towards the end of the 1950's.SeisanSeisan is one of the original three katas brought back from China.SeiryuSeiryu was made by Kanei Uechi at the beginning of the 1960's.KanchinKanchin was created by Kanei Uechi at the beginning of the 1960's.SanseiryuSanseiryu was introduced to Okinawa by Kanbun Uechi in 1910 and was one of the three original katas to come out of China.RyukoRyuko meaning Dragon and Tiger was made in 2000.
